Ian Thomas, managing consultant at CAPA Consulting, said that AirAsia X is very aggressive when it comes to price competition and according to Qantas they are putting on more pressure that JetStar.  AirAsia X’s chief executive, Azran Osman-Rani, said that next year the airline plans to increase the number of flights to Sydney to twice daily in order to take advantage of the strong Australian dollar and the high demand for cheap flights.
