Brits Sick of Hidden Costs on Cheap Flights

There are certainly many good travel deals to be found and Brits do love to get a good deal.  The problem is that many of them that look too good to be true really are too good to be true.  Whether it is family discounts, travel package deals, or and cheap flights, there are often hidden costs and holiday travellers are getting sick of it.  In fact, more than half of Brits have had to pay hidden costs when booking their holiday travel.

Teletext Holidays, a holiday company, has found that 40% of Brits are sick of the hidden costs.  Victoria Sanders, managing director of Teletext Holidays says that it has become clear that many travelers are just fed up with how some websites advertise super deals that have people picking up the phone and calling them.  Out of 2000 travellers who were polled, nearly a quarter of them have had to pay unexpected taxes and 10% of them have been hit by excess baggage fees.  Sanders warns that people need to be careful of who they book with.
