Budget Carrier Wizz Air Adds Flights from Budapest to Malta

Wizz Air, the largest budget carrier in Central and Eastern Europe, has now added two weekly flights from Budapest to Malta.  The flights will be launched on May 17 and increases the number of airports served by Wizz Air from Budapest to 35.  It also increases the number of countries served to 30.  There is currently a sale of the seats, with prices starting as low as EUR 27 for one-way tickets.

Budapest Airport aviation director Kam Jandu said that they are delighted to enhance their flight network from Budapest with the new Wizz Air flights to Malta, as well as substantial increase in flights to Rome offered by Alitalia.  He adds that they are confident people from both cities will want to take advantage of the culture, shopping, restaurants, and nightlife that Budapest has to offer.
