Cheap Flights and Cheap Meals with Ryanair

Passengers on Ryanair flights might no longer smell the aroma of McDonald’s in the cabin during flights because now the airline will be selling and serving their own meals.  Their new and upgraded menu is called The Getaway Cafe and those who order from it might be pleasantly surprised that it is more than just simple snacks.  Hot soup, sandwiches, chicken nuggets, and pastries are among the selection.  There is even some American fare, with hotdogs, hamburgers, fries, and meatball subs.

Prices are somewhat reasonable with a bowl of cereal priced at 1.50 Euros and up to 6.00 Euro for a sandwich.  They even make a jest at themselves by saying for passengers to quench their thirst because using the toilets is still free.  They also say there will be no “fuel surcharge” for ordering a combo meal.  Hopefully these will remain jokes as people enjoy some good food on board their Ryanair flights.
