« » Shows an Increase in Summer Holiday Searches, a leader in the publishing of online travel deals, has reported that there has been an increase of 34% in summer travel searches from April 2011 to April of this year.  Nadine Hallak, Travel Expert at, said that travellers are continuing to follow their habits of travelling and vacationing during the summer season.  Hallak adds that there is a trend showing that people are booking early, particularly with families.


Hallak also says that despite the tough economic times, there is strong research to suggest that this has not deterred people who wish to travel during their holidays. has created a list of sun and sand destinations for summer travel, including Ibiza (GBP 93), Sharm el Sheikh (GBP 410), Croatia (GBP 72), and Turkey (GBP 124).  All flight costs are minimum costs per person for return flights.
