Cheapflights owner has received buyout approaches from several different people

Momondo Group, Cheapflights owner has received buyout approaches from several different people and has hired an advisor.
The company, started in 1996 as an attic-based operation, has hired Arma Partners to come up with strategic options. A deal could place the value of the company around £150m  ($256m USD).

It’s believed that six offers have been made by different private equity firms and trade buyers. Among them is Travelocity and Expedia owner Sabre.

Cheapflights was bought out by ABN Amro banker David Soskin in 2000. The purchase grew from a three-person website offering classified ads to a huge dot com success.
