Scoot is the newest budget carrier from Singapore and on Thursday they will launch their new daily service to Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand. This new flight option comes after the successful launch of the airline’s flights to Australia, with Sydney flights launched on June 4 and flights to the Gold Coast launched on June 12. Campbell Wilson, Scoot’s chief executive officer, said although the airline’s focus is on medium- to long-haul flights, the flights to Bangkok fill a space during which their planes would not be in operation.
Wilson also said that Bangkok is a fantastic destination and their service to Bangkok will provide passengers with connections to other destinations. It’s an exciting addition to their network and their passengers will still enjoy all of the great value and fuss-free service they have come to expect from Scoot. The new daily service will depart from Singapore at 5:25 pm and arrive in Bangkok at 6:45 pm. The return flight will leave Bangkok at 8:00 pm and arrive in Singapore at 11:15 pm.
