Last chance for “cheap” flights to Brazil for World Cup 2014

Soccer fans hoping to travel to Brazil for the 2014 World Cup should buy their tickets now. Prices are expected to skyrocket after the group stage draw that will take place next week.

Right now tickets seem to still be fairly reasonable but after December 6, prices will go up fairly quickly as the cheapest seats are taken. Some travelers will be forced to buy business class tickets, which can be more than double the price of the cheaper seats.

The problem with the World Cup being in Brazil is that the venues could be anywhere within the size of Europe and travelers are waiting to see where events will be held in order to avoid internal travel. That might not be such a good move, according to a spokesperson for Journey Latin America. He says to book early because costs are only going to go up.
