Mango Adding 30 Extra Weekly Domestic Flights

Budget carrier Mango Airlines is adding 30 additional weekly domestic flights to its schedule when the airline bring into its fleet two new Boeing 737-800 aircraft.  The new schedule came into effect on Tuesday, when the first of the two new aircraft was put into use.  Airline Nico Bezuidenhout says the flight additions will increase the frequency of flights across all their major routes.

There will be additional flights between Durban and Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban, and Cape Town and Johannesburg.  According to Mr. Bezuidenhout, said growth on the existing routes will be of benefit to business travelers and there are new routes that are currently being planned.  The airline is looking at the possibility of adding new domestic and regional routes.  They they have applied for a schedule operation to two East African destinations and are in the final stages of planning a seventh domestic destination.
