Norwegian Air Cheap Flights Now Available on the Web

It has been a long wait for cheap flights across the Atlantic, but it seems that it might happen sooner than expected, thanks to Norwegian Air Shuttle, which has been crunching the numbers.  The airline is on track for their launch of flights from New York to Oslo in May of 2013 and they are now taking bookings for these flights.  Their booking engine went live on November 8, offering return flights for €250, but site crashed very quickly.

Now the site is back up and for travellers who are flexible, there are still great deals to be found, although it might be a little tricky to find them.  The flights will be from New York’s JFK International Airport to both Oslo and Stockholm and when searching for them on the website choose the “Show Low fare Calendar.”  Then it is a matter of scrolling down to New York, which won’t be highlighted.  These flights will be operated as any budget carrier, which means extra charges and cramped seating.
