Places to visit for Wizard of Oz fans

If you love all things Wizard of Oz, then you need to check out the list Cheapflights has put together. This year marks the 75th anniversary of “The Wiz” so it’s a great time to do a tour.

This list isn’t all-encompassing, but the first place you should check out is the play “Wicket,” anywhere it’s playing.

Next, hit up the National Museum of American History at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. You’ll see the Ruby Slippers there.

If you’re in New York, check out Chittenango, where Frank Baum lived.  He is, of course, the author of the Wizard of Oz.

The Judy Garland Museum is fabulous in it’s own right. It’s located in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

The above article is a summary. Please see the source article at Google News.
