Ryanair bans booze on flights from Glasgow to Ibiza

Ryanair officials have made the decision to ban alcohol on flights going from Glasgow and Ibiza after some passengers caused a disruption while under the influence. They were filmed chanting and swearing and stamping their feet. The ban only applies to flights between the party resort and Glasgow. The notice says “Any alcohol purchased in airport shops or elsewhere must be packed in a suitable item of baggage, which will be tagged and placed in the aircraft hold free of charge. Customers attempting to conceal alcohol will be denied travel without refund or compensation.” Passengers will either have to check their alcohol or leave it behind.
