The Mumbai Marathon attracts people from all over India, as well as foreigners, to run for charity. Participants start off at the CTS station and run past Chowpatty beach, to the sound of thousands of voices cheering them on.
Those who can't quite hack a full marathon are able to run in the Half Marathon (21.097km), Dream Run (6km) or Senior Citizens' Run (4.3km). There is also a 2.5km route for those in wheelchairs.

The Mumbai Marathon is part of 'The Greatest Race on Earth', an international four-marathon race. The other three legs of the race take place in Singapore, Nairobi and Hong Kong.
