Hear classic Jongmyo Jeryeak music and admire royal descendants of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) dressed in their sumptuous clothes at the annual Jongmyo Daeje Royal Shrine Rites. They are performed on the first Sunday in May at Seoul's Jongmyo Shrine.
The rites are listed under UNESCO's World Cultural Heritages and the shrine is a UNESCO World Heritage site due to it being the oldest and most preserved Confucian royal shrine.
