Frankfurt Zoo is renowned as one of the most attractive, pleasant and popular in Europe. It has 3200 animals of 600 species and a reputation for keeping them in conditions that resemble their natural environment as closely as possible.
One of the zoo's unique selling points is Grzimek House, where visitors can see nocturnal animals who've been fooled into thinking that it's nighttime during the day. There's also the Exotarium, where insects, fish, reptiles and penguins are kept in their natural surroundings.
