Some 700,000 visitors are expected to turn out for Vienna's New Year's Eve celebrations - a New Year's Eve Trail that starts on City Hall Square and makes its way around the city centre.
Large screens, vast stages, three DJ sets, an astrology village with fortune tellers and around 70 refreshment stands serving punch and international food along the party route keep everyone entertained before the clock strikes 12 in Vienna on New Year's Eve.

The morning after the New Year's Eve street party a 'hangover breakfast' is served up on City Hall Square, where the world-famous Vienna Philharmonic's New Year's Day Concert is transmitted live on the big screen from the opera that's a stylish way to soothe your hangover...
