The open-air Munich Summer Theatre returns to Munich's English Garden amphitheatre with a production of Bernard Shaw's Arms and the Man. The event attracts around 8000 people a year, and many bring a picnic.
A different play is performed on summer weekends every year in the garden's scenic amphitheatre. Provided the weather is good, performances take place in the open-air.

In case of bad weather, performances are held in the Mohr Villa (73, Situlistrasse).
